Oracle at the Mobile World Congress
The Mobile World Congress is an annual event for the mobile communications industry held in the centre of Barcelona. The event is attended by all the leading mobile industry brands and is a valuable opportunity to showcase new product developments and innovations.
The Vision
The GSMA wanted to create an innovative, functional exhibitor space in the centre of Barcelona. Exhibititor space had to be marketed to leading industry brands, so the structures had to not only maximize the limited space available but also enable each of the 30+ exhibitors choice and flexibility in the design of their own facilities.
The System
We built a series of modular, double storey structures down each side of the Avenida, a public thoroughfare in Barcelona which created a series of individual structures for the exhibitors next to the exhibition venue. Our unique system enabled exhibitors to customise the exterior with large printed graphics panels. Our system also enabled customers to customise elements of their structure design including choice of glass, internal layout and staircase positions.
