Introduction
BAC Mono at Goodwood
We were appointed by Chris Twemlow at 2 Squared to build the BAC Mono stand at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2019. BAC Mono build lightweight, ultra-high performance, road legal supercars which are designed using the latest racing technology.
We were so delighted Chris, who designed and managed the stand, engaged with us at the early stages of the concept. This aided the smooth design process of this project and ensured a smooth delivery and build.
The Vision
The vision for the event was to create a prestigious and inviting open feel to the stand, allowing the client to showcase the latest Supercar. The stand had to have open sections, welcoming guests to the event on to the stand to view the latest car. The taller legs gave a lighter more spacious feel to the structure.
Worldwide Structures Ltd Delivered:
• A 10m x 20 all-terrain platform, which easily accommodated the undulating terrain of this outdoor event.
• The structure itself was a 10m x 12.5m single storey flat roof structure using our 4.4m tall legs. With open sections around the perimeter of the structure, inviting people on the stand.
• The entire project took 6 crew 4 days to build, ready to hand over to the fit out contractors.
• Project liaison at all times with other on-site teams and the staff at Goodwood Festival of Speed to ensure smooth delivery of the final structure.
